ITS FALL, festive yet brisk!

Fall is here and, as always it is bittersweet. How can you not love the changing color of the trees, the coming of holidays, pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin chai, hot apple cider, apple picking, pumpkin carving, football season, and sweaters! It is a great season of festivity, which is why 200 Amstel planned a weekend full of such. Of course the rain came and (drowned) our plans. (PUN, BECKY) But we refused to let that stop us ! So Becky and Kim got us some pumpkins at Acme and last night Kate came over and we carved, drank hot apple cider, and toasted sweet and salty pumpkin seeds! It was fabulous. :)

Now it's Monday and another week has begun, which will inevitably fly like all the rest. I have a lot of catching up due to missing my classes so I'm currently in one of my "life reorganization" phases. I have projects passing the midway stage in all three of my art classes and tomorrow  I have big plans to hibernate for a few hours somewhere to sketch and brainstorm. (probably while consuming a large coffee)

Once again this semester Robyn opened my mind today with a conversation she had with us during Illustration class. She gave me a lot of insight about earning an internship in illustration. Sometimes I wish I could travel back in time to freshman year, the days I left her class crying on a weekly basis, and reassure myself that in two years I will consider her one of the best mentors I'll have in college. Hindsight Bias.

Life reorganization must continue.
