after 5 go's at printing, the food bank mailer is finally done! the student alumni ambassador logo was approved and is in use, and salina and i's dave brinley posters are in the final stages. yay for being able to breathe again!
tomorrow, rose disanto comes to practicum to talk. she is an alumni who has done a lot with children's work including illustration so i am excited to meet her and see her work. practicum has had some pretty great udvc alumni this semester, i have to give it to bill, between haley harmon from urban outfitters to grand army from w&k attack, and nick from digitas. im excited to have some familiar faces as well like dave brinley and ben kiel from house, love him.
i recently purchased 2 of the 'mysterious benedict society' books and am about to start one! i love children's stories written for adults and the covers just sucked me in with beautiful illustration and hand done lettering. it was love. i hope they live up to my expectations!
